My Favorite Worship Songs

I really love listening to worship music. As I’ve sought the Lord and listened to more Christian music, I’ve found that it truly refreshes my soul like no other music can do. Sure, other styles of music might have some talented singers and beautifully written words, but there is something about worship music that is like none other. It is basically all I listen to now, besides a few other artists/songs here and there.
Today I wanted to share several of my top favorite worship songs with you all! Without further ado, here are some of my favorite songs!
You’re the Only One by Chris Renzema
I heard this song at church one day and loved it! I tried to search for it online, but found nothing and moved on with my life. However, one day I discovered Chris Renzema on Spotify and eventually found out he sang this amazing song!
This song is so simple, yet so beautiful. It’s all about how only Christ can truly fill us up and bring us satisfaction. I highly recommend it and Chris Renzema’s music! He’s an amazing and very talented artist, with raw and worshipful lyrics.
Take Courage by Kristene DiMarco
My friend sent me this song a little while ago, and I love it. The lyrics refresh my soul and remind me that I can take comfort and strength in God. It’s a beautiful song and will remind you to look to Jesus and that He is in the seasons of waiting.
One Thing Remains by Shane and Shane
Oh my gracious, this song is so beautiful. Many of us have sung this song in church or heard it on the Christian radio station, but I fell in love with this version and the lyrics. I love playing this song on guitar and how beautiful the words are.
This song always reminds me that even if my whole world were to turn upside down, God would remain. It reminds me of the story of Job, and how, when he lost everything, he still praised God. It’s such a beautiful reminder of God’s never failing, never-ending love.
10,000 Reasons by Matt Redman
This song is older, but I really love it. It helps me focus on the fact that there are literally 10,000+ reasons to praise God each day. It’s such a simple song, and one many of us have heard a lot, but it has a deep and meaningful message. It’s one of my all-time favorites.
Build My Life by Housefires
This. Song. Is. So. Beautiful. I found Housefires and fell in love with their genuine worship songs. They focus on the Lord and on magnifying Him and it’s spectacular.
This song talks about building your life upon Christ and how it’s a firm foundation and the glory of God. It’s a wonderful song and so worshipful.
I hope these songs encourage you and fix your eyes on Jesus! He’s all that matters and ever will matter, and that is why I love listening to songs like these! I just love how worship music fixes my eyes and affections on the Lord, and when I get these songs in my head, then I’m focusing on God and praising Him.
Psalm 31:1-3 (KJV): I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
