I’ve got some big news!!!!
THIS IS MY FIRST POST ON MY BLOG!
*cue screaming/jumping up and down/full out excitement in general*
So, for this first post, I thought I’d kind of set the stage for what you can expect and ways I will try to influence you in return.
Buckle your seatbelts, kids. Off we go!
First of all, I am a writer. If any of you don’t live in my head (I’m gonna guess that is a fairly high amount?), my imagination is always exploding with new ideas. I am pretty sure that most of the time my brain’s imagination canvas looks like one of those Jackson Pollock paintings
no offense Jackson Pollock. (Stay with me I have a point…) I named this blog “The Introverted Raconteur” for a reason. A raconteur, simply put, is a talented storyteller. Now let’s get honest.
Most of the time, I don’t feel like a talented storyteller.
Hey, it’s true. But this is why I am starting this blog. I am not starting it because I am a talented storyteller
thank goodness because it ain’t true, I am starting it because I know that if I write consistently, receive positive (or constructive) feedback from you lovely people, and put my ideas out there more frequently, with time, I will become a talented storyteller.
Second, I am a creative-arts-crazy person. Music, writing, dancing, and some reeeeeeally bad acting are a part of my day-to-day life. I read books like I will die if I don’t. I listen to music a tad bit too loud, but loud enough to jam to. I play my guitar/ukulele/piano an almost unhealthy amount. If school requirements and high school credits didn’t exist and people taught kids things that were taught in medieval time periods, I never would stop doing any of the aforementioned talents/hobbies.
But *sigh*, I am a responsible teen
MOM I CAN HEAR YOU LAUGHING, and as such I must partake of unpleasant subjects such as math (ew.) So I guess what I am trying to say here is, as much as I would like to be posting constantly, I have duties and sometimes (apologies in advance) I may not post for a while. My goal is to figure out a posting schedule so that you hear from me semi-regularly. Just as a heads up, I will spread the topics around equally, but depending on what I’m feeling each time I write, some things may be written about more than others. *shrug*
So this concludes the first post on The Introverted Raconteur.
Before we say our goodbyes, I have one little thing for you.
*puts hand on your shoulder*
We are making history, my friend.
For better or for worse, we will grow from this experience.
I pray for you daily.
May this little blog of mine shine Light into your lives.
Now go forth, mi amigos and amigas, and smile. Your day is just beginning. Make the best of it. Don’t procrastinate. Work hard. Make me proud. 🙂
Love you all,
